Dress Down/Bake Sale: The Sophomore class will be selling dress down passes for $1 and baked goods for $.50 – $1 on Wednesday, March 29th.
Report Cards: Parents can now view 3rd quarter report cards in Renweb.
Grandparent’s Day: March 30th is for 2nd through 12th grade and March 31st is for Pre-k through 1st grade. The time is 12:30pm to 2:00pm each day. Please know that both days are the same program. Feel free to dress in Red, White and Blue or Service Uniform. Students are allowed to wear jeans and t-shirts both days. Secondary students performing will be told how to dress for their performance. Photographs will be taken again this year with the students and their grandparents.
Auction April 1st: We are just a week away! We have some great items: WV Tickets, Orioles vs Red Sox tickets, Ranger vs Orioles, Hawaii Vacation package, Myrtle Beach Vacation, Bethany Beach Vacation, excursions, fishing, golfing and of course “Our Class Projects”. We are looking forward to a great event!
We will be providing childcare for pre-k through 5th. This will only be for families with students that attend FCA. We have created a signup, so that we can insure that we have enough help.

We will be collecting non-perishable items at the auction to help Connections Community Church fill their Food Pantry. They have graciously given us this awesome space for the auction at no charge. Please remember to bring a non-perishable item! See you Saturday!
Library Happenings: We had another author visit this week. Thank you to Mrs. Elliott, grandmother of Bradley in fifth grade, for spending the day with us yesterday! The library is sponsoring another reading challenge for grades K-5 with prizes from Chipotle during the month of April. Watch mailbags this Friday for details.
Book Fair: Next week is the annual book fair. We are using Life Way Christian Book Store this year. The students will be able to purchase books at the book fair to take home that day. The book fair will be open Wednesday, April 5 from 8:00-5:00, Thursday, April 6 from 8:00-5:00 and Friday, April 7 from 8:00-3:30. If you would like to help, please contact Mrs. Cooper. If you have already offered to help, watch your email for information from Mrs. Cooper.
Re-enrollment: The re-enrollment fee is now $100 and spots in classes are also open to new families.
Carpool Request: Rebecca Tiffany Rayburn a graduate of FCA will be bringing her daughter her for kindergarten and is looking to carpool. She lives between Charles Town and Harpers Ferry. If you interested in carpooling give her a call 304-268-4139.
Juniors & Seniors: Mark your calendars for the annual Junior / Senior banquet. The banquet will be held on April 29 from 6:00-8:30 at Heritage Hall in Inwood. Watch for invitations and more details in the coming days.

Sicknesses: In an effort to clear up the germs and viruses, we are asking that if your child experiences any of the following symptoms to please keep them home for the day. Symptoms include: Runny nose with yellow/green discharge, nausea/vomiting, sore throat, chills or fever, diarrhea or any other conditions that might be contagious. A student should be fever free for 24 hours (without medication) before returning back to school.
