Recap of our Annual Fall Festival:  We had a great event!  Thank you to all of our volunteers for your time before and after the festival.  Attached is a link to the festivities from Saturday.  2017 Fall Festival

Parent Teacher Conferences October 9th:  Next Monday, October 9th, is our first early dismissal (11:30 a.m.), and the afternoon is set aside for parent-teacher conferences from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. There are no lunches and no after-care on early dismissal days. Teachers schedule these directly so please email your child’s teacher(s) if you desire an appointment. In the secondary grades there are opportunities for group conferences with multiple teachers at the same time if that would work. Please email all the teachers with whom you would like to meet and request a group conference if you desire that option.

Appointments will be scheduled in 20 minute increments beginning at 1:00. The last appointment is set to begin at 5:40 p.m.  Please be respectful of the time so that each conference can begin on time.  Remember that all teachers’ email addresses can be found in Renweb.

Lady Falcon Spirit Night:  Chick-Fil-A will be hosting a Spirit Night Fundraiser for the Lady Falcon Volleyball Program on Saturday, October 14th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Please encourage family and friends to dine with us and also remember it is National Dessert Day – so come out, enjoy a shake or some cookies and soft serve and support the our Lady Falcons!

35th Anniversary:  On November 4th we are having our 35th Anniversary celebration at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg.  The invitations are being mailed today. The dress is business casual with a touch of flare.  We would love to have everyone join us!  Christian Caine has graciously donated a piece of jewelry to be given away that evening.  Cost per person is $10.  Please RSVP by calling the office 304-263-0011.

Donate! Give Your Shoes New LIfe: Help us reach souls through soles.  Donate your good, used shoes for people in Cap-Haitien, Haiti.  Types of shoes: sneakers, sandals, even soccer cleats.  Sasha Salesky and his mom will be traveling to Haiti for a missions trip . Help us gather 500 pairs of shoes to send with them!  Shoes can be dropped off in the boxes in the breezeway area at Faith Christian Academy (this is the space between the school and the gym with the glass doors).

Guidance Information: There is a Guidance Department bulletin board in the HS hallway outside of Mr. Keppley’s room. Any scholarship/internship and other related opportunities will be posted to this board. Check in periodically if you have interest in these items.
