Annual Auction

We thank the Lord for the $37,010  that was raised for our school at the 23rd Annual Auction!

*Special thanks to the auctioneers Darwin Plumlee, Wes Weigle, and Jacob Pittsnogle for their service! We had around 570 people in attendance. Seventy eight businesses donated items. The Amish Mariners Compass Quilt had the highest bid for the night going at $4,100!  There were lots of good deals with restaurant certificates and silent auction items.

We had $2,675 worth of sports items sold, 6 Mort Kunstler pictures that went for a total of $1,470, and Longaberger baskets that went for $842. The dolls in the live and silent auction brought in $626. The items of furniture went below the value bringing in $1,185. The bargain of the night was a dining room table and chair set that went for $50. Needless to say the buyer was very happy and bought several other items because he got such a good deal!

The kitchen sold over $3,500 worth of  home cooked soup, country ham, & chicken salad to hungry people! A few people didn’t buy anything, they just wrote a check for a donation because they wanted to help the school!

We thank everyone for helping, giving, praying, and spending. Most of all we thank the Lord for his love and continual blessing on this event and our school!
