Before and Aftercare Info

Before and After Care is $2.50 per half hour or any portion of a half hour. This service is provided for all students on a needs basis, i.e. students do not need to register in advance. The time spent using this service is calculated each month and a bill is sent to families.

Before Care – 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.

After Care – 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Drop off and Pick up Procedures

Drop Off:

Please note that families will not be charged for before-care for students entering the school after 7:30 a.m., however, they must report to the gymnasium until before-care dismissal. Parents who accompany their students into the school in the morning must remain in the entry area and not proceed into the elementary hallway until teachers and students are dismissed from before-care. All other students must report to the gym. This is the devotional time for our faculty and they are in prayer for our school and students. All teachers attend this devotional and should not be interrupted.

Entering the Building after School Hours:

Parents picking up students after school from after care must come to the main office entrance and buzz in through the security system and identify their child and his or her grade. Parents then wait at the office window while we page the after care workers. Parents attending after school activities in the gymnasium must pick up students at the main office entrance first. The doors in the secondary wing hallway are locked at 3:30 and parents must circle the building to enter at the main office.

Pick Up:

If you have students in both elementary and middle/high school, please have your MS/HS students come to the elementary wing for pick-up.

Delay and Early Dismissal Policy

When a school day is delayed for inclement weather, Before Care is delayed proportionately. For example, if operating under a 2 hour delay, Before Care will begin at 9:00 am. After Care is not available on early dismissal days unless indicated otherwise.
